Best Foot Forward: Empowering Women of All Ages is a representation of Sisters U’s mission of connecting, empowering, and inspiring and will feature a keynote from Marilyn Russell, WOGL FM personality and host of Marilyn Russell’s Remarkable Women. The recipient of the Sisters U Empowered Woman of the Year award is Linda Reid, the community event coordinator of Perkasie Borough.
Best Foot Forward includes a variety of breakout sessions, vendors, and raffle prizes featuring donated items from area businesses. This year’s Best Foot Forward will see the debut of the Best Foot Forward Scholarship (scroll down for application information).
Sisters U is all about sharing our individual stories, learning from and inspiring each other. Best Foot Forward is a way to experience the same, with women from all walks of life to sharing an evening where we can learn something new about a topic or about ourselves and have fun! It’s a perfect for a girls’ night or mother-daughter night. (Scroll down for breakout session information and the vendor list.)
2019 best foot forward scholarship
This scholarship is to recognize a student attending the Upper Bucks Campus of Bucks County Community College or a member of Sisters U who has demonstrated initiative and leadership potential by putting their best foot forward in their community. Nominations will be solicited from the Sisters U Board as well as the faculty, staff and advisors of Bucks County Community College. The award for this scholarship is $500 toward a class at Bucks County Community College. The deadline to apply is March 30, 2019.

Get It Together with a Family Command Center
Shawna Boell of Get It Together Mom will share tips and tricks to creating and utilizing a command center for busy families to keep schedules and chores on track.
