May 2017 Monthly Meeting: Raising Children in Our Day and Age

  • Sisters U / Per Diem Space

There are many different configurations of parents and families. We live in a fast-paced and chaotic adult world and children are growing up faster than ever. Many parents are too stressed or busy to be conscious of their parenting style, goals, or personal accountability. Our parental toolbox needs sharpening as a natural element of the job. Being self-aware, mindful, and mutually respectful are a few good ways to build the parent-child relationship.

Join us for our May monthly meeting, where Nina Sidell, M.A., will talk about what it means to parent in our times. Nina is a therapist, life coach, speaker, and author who has worked in private practice for over 30 years. Her mission is to provide a safe place for people to be authentic, feel heard, and valued while she educates, encourages, and inspires the best in them.

Our Sister of the Month, Christin Smith Myers will also share her story.
